Also, "neighbor" can apply to anyone who lives in the neighborhood. For that matter, maybe they *used* to be neighbors, and since they're not really friends he still refers to her as his neighbor.

Oh yes, that would make sense.

Hammond said that Shep was good at creating surroundings that were not reality so McKay probably did so but to a lesser degree.

But Sheppard felt that something was wrong, and he created his dream appartment because of that. Rodney didn't notice anything and he seemed to feel at home, so he must have known his appartment. And I think he would also have noticed if it was a place he once used to live in (like Rose said) but not in the time before they left for Atlantis.

well we did kind of see his room the eppy Duet (for those that have seen the eppy already) and IMO it didn't look all that messy just cluttered

Wow, all this talk about age... I'm 26 now, and I often think "that's nearly 30". But I most certainly don't feel like that. Especially not when I'm here on the board!

Thanks Rose, I didn't notice that before. I deleted the link. But now I'm confused: If everyone can have different settings, than everyone also sees a different amount of page numbers for a thread, right? Is the number of the posting the only way I can refer to? If yes, sorry, because then "page 932" was also nonsense! And my celebration for page 300 and all the other page references for the McKay thread too! OK, now I'm embarrassed. I'll stick to celebrating the number of posts from now on.

Nah, I'm 33 and 3/4's Though sometimes I wish I was 25 again; had a lot of good times around that age.... Then again, I wouldn't have a cool job and a house of my very own, on my own before now. Eh, but I'm about to give it all up so I can go back to college.... now that's going to be weird.

MG - you know it turned out alot harder then it should be to get the commentary on it's own, installed about ten programs before finding one that wasn't limited because of being shareware, and then it still didn't work right and had to use a dvd ripper to shrink/rip backup my dvd with only one audiostream (thankfully the commentary one!) and then use the finally found program! But once I fix my mp3 player I can put the files on it and listen to the commentary on the way to uni. Yay! I bought the dvd for special features and just haven't found the time to listen to all the commentary yet, so hopefully it'll allow me to. Can't miss out on listening to what DH says after all! And all those guys sound so fun based on the first 10 minutes I listened to before.

Well, I can't imagine he'd have left his apartment that way, knowing he may never come back to it, even if he is a slob... there's the health hazard of open bags of chips attracting rats and mice for one. What we saw was probably how he normally kept the apt. and he didn't think anything of it because that's what he was used to and, in his excitement to be back on Earth, didn't question it.
