I don't think anyone commented on the state of Rodney's jeans. The faded crease pattern is, uh, interesting. Fascinating. Riveting, even.

Believe me, I spent some time looking at the pic, and I spent a lot of that time looking at the jeans! My eyes still hurt from analyzing every crease, cough, cough...

Rodney definetly gets better looking with each episode. Especially his hair it looks better sticking up a bit. I have to agree that probably half of the people in this forum will die from Rodney's looks by the end of the season!

By the END of the season? I'm barely holding my own at the moment and I just have seen everything up to "Trinity" yet! By my count I'll drop dead by the middle of the season.

Um, of course!!! It's dedicated to the deliciousness that is our Stargate Doctors in their labcoats. We are always looking for new recruits *wonders if points and prizes are rewarded for recruiting* and the only prerequisite is that you have to find our boys thunkable in lab coats...ain't hard, huh? You can pick a specialty too Oh, and feel free to snag a button from our sigs if you want!

Gate Trippin' explained it very well - everyone is welcome to the lab coat thunk thread as long as he loves the starched white goodness that is called a lab coat and wants to thunk for some of the boys and girls who wear them! Just visit out thread, and you can also pick a profession for the LCLA and put it in your sig with the badge our wonderful strivaria made for us! There is a list on the thread which "jobs" are taken.
And no, Gate Trippin', I fear there won't be any rewards.

Wow, I'm feeling a little confused today. Meredith is nowhere to be found, the hurricane keeps me worried if all our fellow thunkers are OK, I don't find the time to create some new things for this thread, the Rockett or the LCLA thread, other threads are getting closed (how many Checkett threads are there now?), some threads vanish and come back, other threads get lost (I'm not a Shep thunker but I hope the thread gets back without problems tomorrow).
You can't imagine how glad I am that all the threads I love are ok. Just imagine how it would be like if this thread got lost! All these posts, pics, comments, creativity, humor, thunking! Do they have backups? They do have backups, right?

Have not heard from Meredith - I know someone who just returned from Florida, narrowly missing the hurricane, so I hope all is right with the thunkers there.

Also, welcome to the thread Helen and Claire (I'm also a big Dr Who fan).

Yes I agree that Rodney McKay seems to be getting better looking with each episode - TPTB seem to be styling his hair differently (it stands up more) and he seems to go with the slight stubble look every now and then.

But what I really notice is that I think he's getting buffer... as most would have seen in Duet, he looked really good! I mean, he really fills his shirt more snugly these days... or is it just the shirts that are getting tighter?

Hot Zone. It's at the end.
And I think that RM is of course emotional in this scene but also looking as if he's feeling rather awkward, because he doesn't know how to react to an embrace. I love this very little scene at the end (where you nearly miss it), because DH is acting really fabulous in it. Ford is relieved and hugs Rodney spontaneously, and RM, his mind still busy with the recent events, is surprised and also looking as if he isn't used to such gestures. And then comes Zelenka and they have problems with the shake hands/give five thing - this small scene is just incredibly good and so in character for all the people involved!

I blame this pic completely and totally on ra-hanna.

So I was getting out of the shower this morning (sorry about that mental image ) and I started wondering ~ if the Atlantis team were to be on Jeopardy, who would win? Now first thought, Rodney cause he's so pretty...errr... I mean smart. But then, I started thinking about his little hand porn movement thing and on Jeopardy, if you hit the button before the question is finished being read then you get locked out. So Rodney might know the answer but he'd get locked out. I think Weir would take too long read, re-read, and think about the answer. Radek could do well, but everytime he'd try answer Rodney would start arguing with him and then time would run out and Radek would lose his chance to answer. Mind you, all of this came to mind @6:20 this morning before any coffee was had.
