    Good News for David's Squirrels...

from David's blog on 11th Doctor Who:

Thanks to all of you for your many many emails regarding the availability of the next Doctor Who! The role of the 11th doctor would certainly be a life-long dream come true for me - but I already know that! (as most of you do too... since I tell everyone I meet for more than one second!) If you want to see me in the Tardis - Don't tell me, tell the BBC! Okay, you can tell me too as it makes me feel all warm fuzzy and time lordy! Feel free to make a fuss! I'm not going to stop you! Post on forums, Blog on Blogs - The Squirrels can tell you how on the dGeek forum - they're old pros at this sort of thing ;-)

Lots of love and thanks for all the support - you are the best!

    D!

Let's campagin for DH as new Doctor Who!!!

      Postal Address/s:

      BBC Television Centre,Wood Lane,London. W12 7RJ

Viewer & Listener Correspondence PO Box 1922, Glasgow, G2 3WT

Telephone: 08700 100 222 (if you live in the UK obviously)

Web Site: Click here to visit the BBC 1 web site

If you write via snail mail I would write to Steven Moffat C/o The BBC he is the man who will be taking over from Russell T Davies as EP of Doctor Who. Make sure you mention David was born in Britain! lol

I would write to this address:

      Doctor Who
      c/o Steven Moffat Mail
      PO Box 1922
      Glasgow G2 3WT

If anyone in the UK can give me a better mailing address?

I would die if David became the next Doctor. It would be like Christmas and New Year and my birthday all in one! Whee!

I don't like Nothing so much. It's a unique idea but a little too crazy for me. But yes, the end is definitely not predictable.

        With get Down I like
        Spoiler:
that it shows how easy a situation can become unpredictable and violent, which affects this has on people, how they cope with the situation. It seemed for me no one would have wanted this escalation but they didn't know how to end it without losing their pride and status. Very psychological. I was wondering if this could happen to everyone.

I tried one or two episodes from a current season but I guess this is not a show for me. Maybe the older seasons?

But of course I would be very happy for David! And even would give the show another try.

See I love crazy! lol The weirder the better, and Vincenzo directed it, how can you lose!

I don't think it would be possible for anyone to get into Classic Who if they don't enjoy the new version. It might happen but you would have to also love bad sets, questionable acting and really silly stories. If you were to try I would start with Jon Pertwee.

Speaking of things Doctor Who... David and Katy at Conquest. Yes I am getting there, I will have some more pics from both Armageddon and Conquest soon(ish).

If you look closely at his nose you can see the little red mark that Baz left when he hit David with a spoon. David apologised at the Meet and greet 'cause all our pics were ruined by his injured nose! lol

Photos by various photographers from the Armageddon conventions are posted here. It's an on-going pool, the newer convention photos are on the lower numbered pages. Keep paging, there are a few of David in there!

This is a cute one of David and Baz at the opening ceremony.

              Thanks, Willow!

I will email my letter to BBC. I posted same post in Doctor Who Forum to urge people to nominate David for 11th.

I found out that Hewlett and Tennant share same first name, birthday, and their favorite Doctor: Tom Baker.

If David 's successful to get a role of Doctor Who, you better prepare to save money beacuse Doctor Who stuffs like magazines. action figures, etc... will release with DH's face on. your room will be Doctor Who-themed as Stargate Atlantis stuff's in corner of room.

              SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

              Let's fingers cross!

Remind you that SciFi runs "Darklight" movie David Hewlett was in, on Sunday morning at 3:30 am to 5:30 am. I will timer and put blank DVD before I hit a bed.

Isn´t the new Doctor already chosen? I heard some rumors that he should be announced at Children in Need in two days. But, of course, it´s not confirmed.
Steve Moffatt wanted someone "older" for that role but I don´t know in what range and if he means it.

I can´t say that David would fit into that role. I am not sure about it (don´t beat me) but I would certainly get used to it But would David be willing to move to UK, with his family? (and Jane giving up her job partially?)

Thanks for those photos - I´d love to meet David again. Is it just me who thinks that the ring on his finger is just...cute? It still reminds me how deeply family based he is and how he loves Jane. I am not sentimental and certainly not a family type but this is something that is somehow touching.

                Um...ring!porn?...*hides*

It's tonight that they're meant to be announcing it. They're showing a two minute clip of the xmas special and then meant to be announcing the new Doctor. Gawd knows if they actually will or whether they'll just add to the rumours.... I hop they do.

Much as i'd love to see DH play the Doctor, i don't see it happening, at least not this time round - i think they already know who it's going to be, just waiting for the announcement...

if DH isn't picked up as Doctor Who, That's fine with us, we can keep campagining him as 12th Doctor as if new 11th Doctor decide to quit again on one season. David would be hired for a different role in DW, we can't be happy.

Beautiful wallpaper, Erika. That episode still makes me want to cry. I think it's the best they've done.

Here's another video I made. I'm addicted to making these things. This song I've been dying to turn into a video, but couldn't figure out how to do until now.

Thanks for all the great info. I would love to see David as Dr. Who as well. Anything that lets me get to see him on a regular basis in a role that fits his sweet and whacky nature would be most welcome!

I hope if this goes through, we in "the colonies" won't have to wait too long to see it!
