On the subject of the single life...

I have always been single...I only get attention from men much older (and creepier) than me.

I don't get to go out much...my friends are either still mentally stuck in their mid-teens (having sleepovers and not going out to pubs or clubs), or are promiscuous (and get in trouble) or are in steady relationships and drop you like a hot potato for their man.

Thus I have no social life and don't meet men

I know I'm a bit behind, but I just watched the first Sanctuary episode and was blown away by David's performance. He's such an awesome actor. So versatile...

So my fiance and I were at a pre-Cana class today (a marriage preparation class that Catholics have to take before getting married) and the guy sitting in front of us had a gun tucked into the back of his shorts. It was concealed under his sweatshirt and I saw it when he bent over! I couldn't believe it! He brought a gun to a marriage preparation class with his fiance there! I was appalled. He didn't do anything with it but my god! Guns make me really nervous. I've never been around them except in the presence of a police officer in passing but still. I was kinda scared and immediately began watching all of his body language lest he felt compelled to use it. I thought about turning him in, but I was too freaked to say anything. My fiance had basically the same reaction when I told him. I mean sheesh! A gun at marriage prep! A gun anywhere is bad enough, but at marriage prep?! Sorry, just had to unload. I'll stop now.

I've been spoiled and I cried the first time... I am so dreading seeing it again, but wanting to see it again as well.. I know I will cry alot.
What I didn't get is why didn't they show them taking the flag off and handing it to McKay... In SG-1 they did that in season 1 when they thought Daniel was dead and gave the flag to Teal'c.. Yeah I know it was an American flag, but it would of been nice to see Rodney being handed Carsons Flag....

Rodney says 'anyways' a lot, and we've wondered whether that was a Martin Gero thing, a Canadian thing, or David...listen to the music video contest vid and he says anyways, so maybe it's an idiosyncracy of David's that the writers have picked up on

I remember that we discussed that and wondered if it's a David thing or not. So it seems it is. Hehe.

What happened? Another one of these "adventures in a general thread"? I so hate that they usually end in some sort of virtual fight. Me loves my safe haven (the RM thunk). All the other stuff upsets me too much most of the time (just read a post that annoyed me to no end *again*, decided to ignore it to keep my blood pressure down. Saves time, too.)

Hey, people. I just came from grandmum, I took her from hospital by dad´s car (and I didn´t kill anyone!) and she is at home now. She should rest but I doubt that in this beauty weather is something that can keep her from garden. Thanks much for support, I felt really bad during last two days. I still hope she will be OK because she is still very tired. And our family problems are not over yet. Family, you can´t choose it but you have to live with it.

Sue, I am not sure what you are implying at but I don ´t know who is more intolerant, if anti or pro S4 people. I am looking forward to S4, I am not sure if I can ger over Carter but I refuse to judge something what I haven´t seen yet. Sure, I don´t want her there. But I can´t do anything about it. But I still don´t understand how can someone want Atlantis get cancelled. Those so called fans are not fans when they want their favorite show to get cancelled. But it is entirely my opinion, of course. I think Torri was right about the "internet in flames" she spoke about. Now let´s hope it won´t divide fans forever and I hope that tptb won´t screw up. I think that the real fans wouldn´t forgive them.

I am looking forward to GW photos from Vengeance because, guess what? Spoiler for that who haven´t seen it
