Saw the update! Loads of cool! Too bad about the mean people on digg.com. They don't know what they're misisng.

Apparently some people don't think it's cool to push your own stories on digg, even though there's nothing against the rules about it. A story gets on digg, your friends read it and maybe comment on it. If more than your friends read it, that's just spreading the news. David can't help it if he has a lot of friends!

OT comments about another geek/blogger

Wil Wheaton, from Star Trek, is also a blogger and coded his own website. Yet when he puts his stories out on digg, the naysayers swarm down and say what a loser he is, when all they have to do is not read his articles. And he doesn't put on digg everything he writes, just the stuff he thinks might have a wider appeal. He's not making any money from people reading his stuff, so I don't get what the problem is.

Wil and David need to meet each other. Wil wrote a book called Just a Geek, David's handle is dgeek. They both designed and coded their own websites. I bet they'd get along great.

It's the Entertainment section, for goodness sake! Some people are just so uptight.

Anyway, while most of David's news articles average about 2,000 hits, the article noted on digg has had over 15,700 hits so far. So it's all cool, I say.

Arctic Penguin, can you put your caps in spoiler tags? At 800 pixels, they're too wide for my screen and force the thread to go off the right side of the screen. I have to scroll back and forth to read the posts and that's kinda a pain. Remember, some of us don't have wide screen displays. Thanks.

I read about the "missing" part too, so it really sucked that he *died*. And there have been interviews with different people, DH among them, that keep saying that "no one ever dies in scifi." I dunno, it looked pretty final to me.

Thank you, I'm quite attatched to her already. She already rules the roost, but oh well, what can you do? And in answer to someone else, (sorry I couldn't find your post) she is actually a Pitbull. Which is why I got her so young, so I can teach her to be gentle. I don't think it's going to be a problem though, she's already got the whole "No biting!" thing down. She's a smart little thing.

Well, I haven't gotten to see the ep yet....**growls at the US PTB** But from the spoilers I've gotten from various friends that have, it would seem that the end is hinting that Carson has actually ascended. Now, while, I would rather have him in human form and a regular on the show, I could live with him being ascened, at least that way there are chances for him to be on the show, and even a chance they could bring him back. **hopes**

EDIT: And holy wow!! I just read all the comments at Diggs about ADB....could ppl be any crasser? Yeesh! I want to post so bad, but I'm going to show myself an adult and not, because what I would want to say would not be nice. I have one question though, the gripers that are complaining that all the newbies' comments had pushed the article to the front, ummmmm.....wouldn't all their griping/comments be doing the same thing? gotta love the idiots, defeating their own cause. **snickerfit**

There's been some talk about the Vancouver one that there might be more "special" guests, due to 10th anniversary and SG1 cancelation and what not. I've been bugging folks on Dgeek for a ADB showing there.
