Elizabeth Weir/John Sheppard Appreciation/Ship/Discussion Thread

    Maybe they can shoot scenes for the movie to use in the show or something. Because Agents of Shield's way of covering for the fact that they don't have the budget for regular appearances from Samuel L Jackson is kinda funny. You'd think Nicky Fury would appear more often given that Coulson and his guys seem to be doing stuff that is ostensibly important.

    Every time I see a scene where Coulson tries to get in touch with Shield's leadership I half expect someone to say "Let me guess... you didn't get through to him did you?"
    "First Weir, then Samantha Carter, and now, you! It's a pity you humans die or get reassigned so easily, or I might have a sense of satisfaction now!"

    *You got the touch! You got the poweeeeer!*

    "Arise, Woolseyus Prime."

    "Elizabeth..."

      Haha, true. What you said reminds me of the SG-1 episode "200" where they were parodying the situation with RDA leaving yet still being mentioned by other characters, acting as if he was still around and reminding the audience that he was a part of the show. What can I say? It's a good method. Just not with Elizabeth Weir.

      Anyhow, back to business. Captain America was awesome. Of course. I have some housework to do tonight that I neglected earlier, so unfortunately, fun and games is on the back burner. But it just gives the fic bunnies more time to work.

              OT because I have to share:

              My niece is starting to walk!! If you hold her hands she'll walk all over the house. When she stands up by herself she only manages about five steps until she falls on her butt. Then she gets up and tries again.
              I tell you Teal'c, hockey is the coolest game on Earth!

              Did you not say it is played on ice, O'Neill?

                Okay, reading Joe's blog - had to tell him that there was zero chemistry between Shep and Teyla. And that any "surprise" that Teyla's baby wasn't his was NO shocker

                  Wow... weird... I'd say in that whole equation it was more a shock that Teyla had an actual social life outside of Atlantis, seeing as how little time they spent on the Athosians in general.

                            Just proves that what was intended by the writers/producers wasn't what came across on screen. If they really had any plan for what they wanted to show, that is. Makes me wonder what happened. Was it just bad writing or did the writers/producers just never talk to the editors?
