Elizabeth Weir/John Sheppard Appreciation/Ship/Discussion Thread
Well, does it have to be a jumper? John is still military and can fly a helicopter. Could he get hold of one of them, fly to Atlantis, then get a jumper from there and bring a jumper back (cloaked)?

I've set it up to be a jumper. Here's the gameplan
Spoiler:
Steal the jumper, fly to Atlantis, get rid of the skeleton crew, beam Sam, Cassie, the twins, and Nick in along with the other stuff, and then beam Elizabeth and Cadman in. Then they get the hell out of Dodge.

Yes, same here. And you don't always need a psychiatrist (no offense to anyone). A psychiatrist is paid to help you; a true friend gives you counsel and advice based on loving concern.
Which is why John and Elizabeth vented to each other most of the time, and not always to Kate.
How very true.
I think I sense the birth of a plot bunny. If my muse decides to cooperate, that is.
I tell you Teal'c, hockey is the coolest game on Earth!
I'm always so torn about these episodes because they're so shippy but it's also the beginning of the end.
Yeah, why did they have to make the episodes even more shippy towards the end? Were they trying to show us that “there, you like it but you can’t have it”?!
I was watching The Rising (started out as merely taking caps to make some gifs and ended up watching the entire thing ) and trying to choose my favorite shippy scene of the episode. And I'm still undecided between their discussion about the rescue mission in the balcony or the last scene with the toast and them standing there together.
I'm more inclined to choose their argument about the rescue mission because during those moments where they were at odds you could feel the heat coming off in waves. Okay, it's just really hot seeing them fight.
One jumper is in DC being fixed, where Sam and Rodney are working.
Hi Sparky, sorry I didn't get back to you but the laptop ran out of juice and so did I. But I have been thinking on your question:
Spoiler:
Perhaps Sam and Rodney can bring Jack in (he may be retired but still a well-respected General and also, Sam's husband). Jack can then take the Jumper as he has the Ancient gene to fly it (I don't know if you want to make it a hostage situation or anything, but Jack could always threaten with drones to be let out of the facility). Cloak the second he gets going and meets John and co. in a designated spot and John takes over from there. It's a pretty basic idea and you may not like it but I think there would be more chance of Jack getting into the place than John and it gets Jack highly involved as well which is always fun! Anyway, you may already have thought of an idea. If not, I hope this helps.
I watched Rising a couple of weeks ago and it is amazing how much sparky there is in it. From the moment they arrive in Atlantis and gaze at each other, to the fight, to the conversation at the end. I just love it.

How about I give you the group that's going to steal the jumper, would that help?

You know what, part of me thinks they were. Maybe I am being paranoid (hindsight and all that) but if they never planned for the two of them to be together then why do it? To annoy us! I mostly just get very sad now but at first it was anger.
