I made an appointment for Monday afternoon to take a tour of a nursing home we're considering for my mom and my brother has already said if there's a storm he won't go. Oh good grief.

People are buying up bottled water and the like here as well. I have never understood why people are in a rush to buy milk when it will just go bad if power is lost. But we do it here too.

I was thinking about you. Tell your brother it's still going to be down here on Monday. Heh. But seriously, I think you are going to get hit harder than I am. Hopefully not one of those long power outages like before. I hope they don't have to cancel trick or treat and we have to eat all that candy ourselves. That would be a shame.

It's funny, but SR Jr. said the exact same thing you did about TLG. He patiently explained to me, as only a child can do to his/her mother, that the Sparky kiss was a common trope in Sci Fi that foreshadowed a relationship. He was dead serious and always considered Sheyla to be a red herring. I tried to tell him what TPTB were planning, but he wasn't buying it. If only he had been right.

We found several times in S4-5 when John made the "woobie" face even when Elizabeth wasn't mentioned but something was said that we thought reminded him of her. For example, in S&R when he got so emotional telling Keller he had once lost a chance to rescue a team member. Maybe he meant Ford, but maybe not. There were also several others that I'm hoping someone else can remember.
