Loved your dream! SOOOOOO squeeeable! I love hearing about all these. And some time I hope I'm Elizabeth in my dream, so I'm the one kissing John! I'm always just "watching" the characters in my Stargate dreams.

I've *been* Harry Potter on more than one occasion, and even Draco Malfoy once. Very odd... still not sure what to think about those instances.... (You'd think, being a girl, I'd be Hermione... but no.)

Anyways, back to this fandom -- Anjirika, I loved your "Anything for Anyone, Especially for You" fic! I was following it all the way, always anxious for updates. So great! Thumbs up. Write more!

I'm with Sally and Saz... S2 had some good ones... Seige3, Runner, Coup Detat, Critical Mass, Conversion but overall I enjoyed S3 a lot more... storytelling and characterization was much better.

Was talking with my sis today and we decided (as many others have I'm sure) that Farscape managed ship and lasted 4 years and a mini-series closure. SGA could do it too but they'd actually have to decide on a ship. Sadly, I think that's as likely as my mother showing up at a sporting event wearing only body paint of her favorite team's colors.

i just think that its so funny that when elizabeth, john, rodney, and carson go out to dinner that john is wearing black and elizabeth is wearing red. you would think that since they wear those colors every day as part of their uniforms, that once they were back on earth, they would want to wear different colors! lmao

i just noticed that the second episode of season four is called "Lifeline" and guess who it's written by.....Carl Binder!!! Woooh! we all know that he is a secret sparky shipper!!! i am definitely hoping for some sparky in this ep because maybe it could have something with john being elizabeth's lifeline. it says that it is supposed to be "the big op eppy" but i am still hoping for something sparky related

Of course there are many others I don't have room to list the full lyrics to; "Far Away," by Nickelback, "Over and Over," by Three Days Grace, "Chemicals React," by Aly & AJ, "Speechless," by The Veronicas (maybe a bit fluffy for our pair but it's such a beautiful song), of course "You and Me," by Lifehouse, and tons of others that I'm too brain dead to think of at the moment.

Also, probably because I absolutely adore the band, there are quite a few lines in Breaking Benjamin songs that remind me of John and Elizabeth...not usually the whole songs mind you (and if you listen to them you'd know why) but there are definitely some lyrics here and there that fit; for example, the first few lines in "Forever" fit, and for some reason just the one line, "You take the breath right out of me" from the song "Breath" makes me think of our ship. Well, I suppose the whole song could fit an extremely angsty Sparky scenario, but other than that it's not really applicable. "You" would also be a great angsty Sparky song. Of course, it might just me that sees these connections because I'm a huge goober.

And as we've already established, Snow Patrol songs as a rule generally fit Sparky, as do a lot of Sarah McLachlan songs.

Bryan Adams songs which could be Sparky:

One of my favorite Sparky vids is to an up-beat Bryan Adams song called She's A Little Too Good For Me. You get adorkable!John telling Elizabeth how she's too good for him, but she's changing him for the better. Makes me smile every time. I'll try to dig up the link, but if anyone else wants to join the search the vid was made by the alianne.

Edit: Also, S2 had Malp On A Stick!

I don't know why I find this line so funny, but it's one of my all-time favs.


I can't pick a favorite season for Sparky episodes. In my mind I've got them lumped together into one "very special" Sparky season. There are entire eps with Sparky moments from the others. Kind of like those special edition dvd's you see once in a while. Wouldn't it be nice to have Sparky all in one place?
