Yep! She and Lorne team up with dueling shoulder-held rocket launchers.
In the meantime, Teyla and Ronon are just standing their shaking their heads at yet another example of How The Earth Humans Are CRAZY.

Originally posted by Southern Red View PostSpeaking of 302s, we could hear the planes from the Salute to America fly over on the 4th but couldn't see them because of tree cover. A friend who lives a few miles south of us saw them fly over his housing development. So neat.(This is legal notice that any attempt to censor or delete, for the purpose of oppressing fair and open discussion, any statement made by me will be considered a violation of my right to free speech as guaranteed by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, and will be dealt with in accordance with federal law.)
Sparky is on screen. Therefore, it is canon. Elizabeth is still out there. And John WILL bring her home.

On the 11th of July 1302 the Flemish militia men (merchants, farmers, commoners) kicked some French knights' butts in the battle known as the Battle of the Golden Spurs.
Meaning, if today hadn't been a Saturday, I would have had the day off.
However, it also brings out the Flemish nationalists with their Lion-flags -- the wrong one, I might add.
The flag of Flanders shows a black lion with red claws and tongue on a yellow background - the coat of arms of Flanders.
The nationalists took that flag and altered the design of the lion, entirely black, on a bright yellow background. And it's not funny finding that particular flag in my downstairs neighbors' window today.
I knew he's an active member of the N-VA, the Flemish center-right nationalist party, but I had no idea he was leaning so far right that he decided to display the black lion of the much further right racist party, and thought that a good idea. I mean, we have an Egyptian family living in the building, and they are good people. That must make them feel so welcome... ...not.
Blah... I wanted to counter his flag with the real one but I don't have that.Heightmeyer's Lemming -- still the coolest Lemming of the forum

Good morning, Sparkies! Happy Lazy Sunday!
FH...gah, that's not a pleasant thing. But perhaps consider it a reminder to get yourself the real flag. That way you'll have it for next year to fly at your new house.(This is legal notice that any attempt to censor or delete, for the purpose of oppressing fair and open discussion, any statement made by me will be considered a violation of my right to free speech as guaranteed by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, and will be dealt with in accordance with federal law.)

Meh... this happened... (don't mind the mistakes, I just wrote this at work while I was supposed to be working, like Elizabeth)
Spoiler:
Elizabeth stretched as far as her office chair would allow her to go, feeling her back ache in protest. She leaned forward and mumbled to herself about growing old and aches she didn't need. She returned her gaze back to the tablet screen in front of her, the you-have-unopened-mail icon in her taskbar popping up. She moved her finger down from the ace of spades she just moved in her game of solitaire and hit ignore on the new mail.
"Go away!", she grumbled.
"Okay, I'll come back later then."
Elizabeth looked up, finding John's retreating backside hurrying back out of her office.
"No," she called out. "Sorry, not you."
John turned and made his way back to her desk, sitting down on the edge.
"Well then," he started. "How about some lunch?"
"Lunch?", Elizabeth echoed.
"Yes, lunch."
John pointed down at his watch, indicating what time it was. Lunch time.
"Kate and Teyla have already gone ahead."
It slowly started to dawn on Elizabeth that she was supposed to remember something. John continued to look at her, his head tilted just a little to the side, watching her work out what it was she was supposed to be doing right now.
"Oh..."
There it was.
"...lunch...with Kate and Teyla."
"Celebrating their 6-month anniversary," John added helpfully.
"Right."
Elizabeth closed down her game, continued to ignore the blinking mail icon and graciously accepted John's arm.
"To lunch!"Heightmeyer's Lemming -- still the coolest Lemming of the forum

Surgery day is tomorrow. Bleh. Could be outpatient, could be overnight, but either way, should be home rather quickly.
