Great pics everybody
I use a small program called Virtualdub to make those caps from the avi files. For DVDs, I use Intervideo WinDVD Player 7.0 coz it has a command to make caps from the movies.

Is that program expensive? How good does the picture come out? I hate how cruddy my caps always look. The Media Player window is too small, but if I play it in full screen it gets distorted.

I personally use FrameShots, I can open any media file (DVD, AVI, MPEG, etc) and cap it with that. Its pretty basic, but it does the trick.

I donno if it's expensive or not (Virtualdub is for free, that's sure....) The only problem is, that I can't stop the picture and move the frames slowly so I can't make caps such I can in VD with avis... You better listen to Jenner

Yeah I think it depends on the program you use. I always take the stuff from the dvd and save them on my computer and than do the caps. I've never done it before off of the dvd.



Are you sure it isn't return pt 1?

i like the idea with the story writing. if it's the one sentence after the other like I suggested or the method jenner described (we did that here as well when i was at school *lol*), i think it would be fun.

You can go frame by frame with frameshots, or skip ahead in larger quantities. You can control that very easily. Its a very basic program, but it does the job.
