*she looks at Djego confused* I really don't need life guards I can *she realizes what he means and says nothing more, looking back at Corey sadly* and I don't want guards to protect me from myself *she closes her eyes again and tries to vanish but instead screams out*

*Ramirez takes his hand away frm her arm again he had pushed a bit, feeling bad for it but also knowing nothing else would have been fast enough to keep her from vanishing then breaking her concentration*

I know, Carson...I know... *I feel a tear drip down my cheek and brush it away with the hand that isn't holding Beck's* ...I just can't get her face out of my mind, Carson. The fear and pain in Beck's eyes when I brought her back, she looked so...helpless and afraid...I wish I'd never left her side...

Don' beat y' self up abou' it love, I don' blame y'. I'm jus' so livid at bloody Keller. 's more my faul' than yours. I 'ired her. I shoul' never 'ave took 'er on. She's caused ye nothin' but pain & Dell for tha' matt'r, n' now almost killin' mah wife?! I- I nev'r wanna see tha' woman again... Or else, forgive meh f'r sayin', I may break mah oath again. *I reach across Beck's bed and put my hand on Carson's arm, sort of smiling at him through the messy hair that's taken to falling across the side of my face, I shake the hair away so he can see the smile*

Carson, I don't blame you--or A-Carson for that matter--for what happened at all. You couldn't have known she would turn out to be so bad, hell I didn't even think it would get any worse than her trash talking me until Dell got involved...and forgive me as well, but I almost did break my oath when I saw what she'd done to Beck...I only didn't because just as when nMichael did what he did to her, Beck needed me right then and if I'd taken the time to kill Keller, it would have been a waste of the time I needed to save Beck. I decided Keller wasn't worth my time, not when my sister needed me.

*I take a deep breath*

And I never told you or A-Carson about my experiences with the Jennifer of my past. That she was the reason I lost the man I loved in my past reality...that is why I am always so wary of letting anyone besides you two and aJanet watch over my patients when I have to leave...because it was another doctor who cost me my love. But now I'm here, and I have A-Carson...and my sisters...and my brother in law. And when this Keller made me think twice in one day that I might be on the edge of losing that again...it hurt. But I don't blame any of you for it, I only blame Keller for it. I gave her chances to make it right. I gave her so many opportunities to do what she knew was right and she didn't, that's on her, not us.
