My universe, maybe I meant planet. Earth-like. (Able to support life, mild weather, stable climate, oceans, and also a supply of fresh water, seasons, enough rain fall to grow an abundance of crops [food, tea]. Shielding from the solar radiation, solar wind, asteroids, etc. Advanced technology, starships, etc.)
Space is pretty big. We just haven't found any other 'Earths'.... yet. Those don't seem to be all that common. There is still very likely to be life out there somewhere.
and life comes in all shapes and sizes and survives in all different environments.Only have to look around earth to see that! What the heck are those?!
The life on Earth resulted in water from asteroids. And it would have turned out differently if we didn't have the moon. Jupiter shielded the planet from dangerous space objects when it was still forming. So maybe life formed for a little while. There was very likely life (and water) or Mars in the past. A couple other candidates for life are Titan and Europa.
