Lucius kind of scares me. I don't know why.

Indeed he does. It wasn't until I went back and rewatched that episode that I realized just how the actor had given Lucius a sense of... dark ambition. This is no more clear then when he was pestering Sheppard for a Jumper.

"But I want one."

The way he phrased it pointed out that he had absolutly no qualms about destroying anyone and anything to get what he wanted. He soon wanted the women of Atlantis, and God only knows what he would've done had he gotten them...

So yeah, it's easy to dismiss the character as a cheap, slapstick fill-in for a filler episode. Then go back and watch a little more closely and you'll see some dark depths in there.

Lol, I flipped one of the televisions at work onto SciFi earlier and we were so not busy that I got to watch a fair amount of the eps... while walking around pretending to work...

And total squee.... There were a bunch of good ones
