I quite liked Carson, and was saddened by the 'Sunday' episode. However I thought that his death was very in character and very much the way somebody like him would have chosen to die, saving others.
I do not like bringing characters back from the dead, for the most part. An author/artist named Wendy Pini put it best "When you bring a character back from the dead, you cheapen and invalidate what you were trying to say and do by having them die in the first place."
I hear a lot about the fact that Daniel died/ascended and he got brought back to life. As long as that's done only once I'm okay with it. Otherwise it becomes "Danger, what danger? We all know that even if, insert character name here, dies, they'll just be back in a season or two."
So while I liked the character of Beckett, I hope he stays dead and that 'Kindred' is sort of Atlantis's dimension colliding episode. SG-1 had it and we got to see characters who had died in their dimension, but were alive in other dimensions.
As far as Keller goes, I'm liking the character and can't wait for the 'Missing' episode. It's about time the gals got a bonding time with guns eppy. Usually only the guys get those episodes. I'm also looking forward to 'Quarintine' since it seems that she and Ronon will have some romance. It would be nice to see a romance that does not take the utterly unrealistic timeframe of 3-to-7 years to go beyond adolescent flirting and googly eyes. Because, please, in real life only kids do that. Adult relationships do NOT work that way.

Well, fortunately it was not 7 month for me, I think Skyone aired the second half earlier.
