I think the writers of SGA have been doing this with all of the potential ships on the show. At first, the writers were telling everybody that Sheyla was the main ship of the show. And there are hints at McWeir. Except woopsie! There's a lot of people who like Sparky! And then further muddying those waters, Ronon comes along and then people want to pair him up with Teyla. Then, along comes Jenn and they make the same mistake! If they had gone the route of SG-1 and said from the outset "These are our ships" then they could have been soo much more consistent.

I think what happens is what always happens...and this is with any show. They try to please everyone when it comes to the shipping. They don't want to push any viewers away so they give a little..but honestly when it comes down to it..with an ensemble cast like SGA romantic relationships are not the focus of the show so I don't see how making a decision and going with it would drive fans away? Instead they just play us all like a damn Yo-Yo

And I totally forgot to tell you all! You'll get a kick out of it. Hubby, daughter and I went to the city today. We were in the middle of Sam's Club (warehouse store for you outside the states) and my daughter announced - with some reason - that I was officially the weirdest mom in the world! I did a happy dance right there! LOL. I have done my job right!
