I don't want snow here either. I don't mind snow too much. I grew up with it. But down here they can't handle it and it's just a big mess when we get any. Ice is the worst though and working at a hospital it doesn't matter - you still have to get in somehow.

Yes you are one of those essential services that have to still go in.
My Dad used to sell car parts, and he said it was always busiest right after the first rain after a dry spell, or the first frost, because people forgot how to drive in those conditions!Comment

Mind you it is colder in our South, warmer in the North. (yeah, I don't know where I was going with that either
