Well, supposedly, it will be over by the time we get up in the morning (unless you stay up way late for all the time zones to finish and start reporting in their results). Unless it's close in some states - then it can drag on for days with absentee votes needing counting, recounts (Heaven forbid), etc. But then it's still not really over until the Electoral College representatives (that's what we're rally voting for) meet and cast their votes. They're "supposed" to vote for who their state elected but technically they can pull a switch. It's way more complicated than even Americans understand. It's not who actually gets the most votes nation wide. That's why we're a Republic and not a Democracy.
*I have a headache just thinking about it*John Sheppard - thunkable, whumpable but absolutely NOT shippable - he's mine and I'm keeping him.

*pokes head through her trusty hole in the wall* Hey Dell, hi Shep, hello all the other Shep thunkers
Dell, ye gonna pop over an' say hello to Carson this mornin'? Got a bit lonely in his thread last night at 2am when nobody was there to remind me to go to bed...ended up snuggling up in bed with my Cuddly Carson plushie and my laptop and watching The Torment of Tantalus and a few other favorite SG-1 episodes because I got locked in the cupboard again...I think there were a few moments when I was literally the only person online in the Atlantis Characters section of GateWorld =O
Oh yeah, somewhere in Season 9 or 10 of SG-1, SG-1 goes to Atlantis (Season 9 I think...) and Shep makes an appearance. Tosses Mitchell a lemon and tells him it's how he keeps Rodney in line...
