The afternoon got a little interesting. *technical problems - not the kind of interesting I enjoy*

One of our instruments has been down since last night with a computer board problem - the field service tech arrived just before lunch and finished by 12:30. Great! Run the daily maintenance diagnostics with no problem. Great! Initialize the system to go back into regular operating mode. NOT GREAT! More internal communication errors and the stupid alarm is literally going off every second. *headdesk* Called back service and finally found the volume control for the alarm to low alarm rather than blaring alarm. Now I'm hiding in my office so I don't get a headache. One more hour and it's someone else's problem.
