Because I love this character and Joe.
You asked me to choose. I made my choice. I think Weir is more "unique" in the Stargate universe (not the tv show but the franchise) and Sheppard is almsot like "O'Neill", "Cameron".....And it would be logical. He always playing with his life so why not him.
Sorry if I shocked everybody. But I'm glad they don't kill him.

I must disagree. Sheppard is more special than Cam and he is hotter than O'Neill.
Just my thought. Weir is not si unique in the stargate universe. You can love her but you can't kill Sheppard here.
