Where you first noticed The Flan, I mean.
I had seen him in other shows, and like you I almost found him too handsome. Weird how that was off-putting. He really caught my eye in Sisters. Must have been all those shirtless scenes! But I think SGA is where he really blossomed, came into his own as a leading man and got to showcase his acting talents.
Thank you, los, that is very sweet.sigpic

The local news here just showed that miniature horse! So cute!
He's only 14 inches tall!
John Sheppard - thunkable, whumpable but absolutely NOT shippable - he's mine and I'm keeping him.

Yeah, that's what I thought as well. That he was too handsome. He was too cute but that is one man that has aged very well and his acting skills have just gotten better and better over the years. Case in point...
Give me some bread and cheese and I could make a sandwich with that ham! LOL

What can I say? 'Tis the truth. I barely remember seeing him in 'Sisters' but I did love that show. I wish that they'd put it on on DVD, darn it.

I loved Sisters too. A chick show that I actually liked, rare enough. Although I was also watching for Stephen Collins. I got a signed photo from him and he wrote a few things on it too. This was back in the day, but I digress.
I agree. He's always been a fine actor, IMO, not relying solely on his incredible looks. He gives depth to the characters he portrays. From a cute young thing he has developed into a fine, fine, fine HAWT man! And his acting has only improved. The weight of emotion he can convey with just a look, with little dialogue...it's incredible to watch.
But I seem to be gushing so I'll stop now before the squee starts.
don't stop gushing, los. Please, continue.sigpic

Los, the squee is flowing so thick this week whatever you add wouldn't make much difference. (and squee is a very good thing btw-that's what we're here for).
If squee could be packaged it might look like this.John Sheppard - thunkable, whumpable but absolutely NOT shippable - he's mine and I'm keeping him.

Except for that one scene he was really great in Family Album. Its one of my fav movies and I love the book too. I have to admit that Swoozie Kurtz was my fav because her Alex was so...so...so ME! LOL Snarky attitude that is! LOL
His acting has improved over the years and its a shame that a guy with his talent can't find a steady show. I don't even know who half these new people in Hollywood even are and who ever told them that they had talent was just a big fat liar. And I'm not even going to start on those stupid reality shows. If I want to look at a bunch of morons and idiots I'll go and visit some of my family.
