The pants are easy enough to make..although her's are a bit more intricate. Their first off Thailand Fisherman Pants- material is normally made out of cotton. I have a few of them myself. But with hers they've added suede detailing on the top area to give it a different look....I thought it was well done on the designer's style. The outfit she wore was less 'tribal' than her other ones, and more like you'd see a woman on Earth wearing to an aerobics class.

Yeah majortrip.....that's my favorite outfit personally...I thought the Michael one was a bit too....conventional---it looks like something Atlantis Crew chose and hence my hesitation in liking it..although I love the top....I just don't think it fit's Teyla's personality.
Her first two outfits were definitely her choices and the clothing of her people...Michael was too boring----I wasn't impressed with the overall effect!

I prefer the traditional dress, too, but I thought that maybe from this outfit she was becoming more comfortable with Earth culture. It does look like something one of the female military officers gave her, and certainly not Athosian. Hmmm...perhaps spandex was developed centuries ago in Pegasus, and only recently re-developed on the Milky Way. That would explain how an Antosian came to posess this top. I'm kidding! I do think this was given to her or traded for by Teyla from an expedition member.
