the new season should be airing some time in the summer...and yeah they seem to say 'mid-season finale' when they actually mean 'we're not going to air new eps until a year later'

I know that when they ever mention him in the commentaries on the SGA dvds they have nothing but positive things to say about him. Too bad his wife cant get him a good part on Eureka. I like that show. It's light-hearted and I think Kavan would be great in it.

Yeah, and it's had loads of SG actors in it so far anyway. Michael Shanks, Lexa Doig, David Nykl, Colin Cunningham, Martin Christopher, Allison Hossack, Dean Marshall, Teryl Rothery, Richard Cox, Gary Chalk, Tyler McClendon, Tamlyn Tomita, Andrew Airlie, Yvonne Myers, Saul Rubinek, David Quinlan, Robert Clarke, David Paetkau, Mike Coleman, Daryl Shuttleworth, Barclay Hope, Aleks Paunovic, Garwin Sanford (and probably more but I can't be bothered cross-checking them on IMDb anymore )... and Niall Matter and Chris Gauthier from Eureka have both been in Stargate!

Almost every ep so far has someone I know from SG. It's fun, going *squeeeeeee* look that's ... so and so.

Yes, we did! I only say one of those movies because of the frequency they'd probaby show it. Let's be honest - he has been in a few 'not-so-memorable' movies.

He's hilarious. Me and my friend Angie won a Eureka quiz and before we went in for it he tried testing us lol, and after we won he made us ask him the questions to see if he knew the answers. He got them all right

I'd love to see him on it. As for the characters...

Lexa Doig (Dr. Lam in SG-1) - anti-sexual harrassment person that ended up snogging Carter in the episode where all the women went crazy over him

David Nykl (Zelenka in SGA) - played the blind meteorologist when the weather machine caused isolated freezing and killed a man

Colin Cunningham (Major Davis in SG-1) - played the 'dream doctor' in the episode where everyone's dreams merged

Martin Christopher (Major Marks in SGA) - plays a general medical doctor in the GD infirmary

Allison Hossack (Perna in SGA S1E6) - played the vet that helped Carter cure everyone when the employees of GD went 'dumb'

Dean Marshall (Sgt. Bates in SGA) - played some sort of electoral candidate in season 3 who ended up making the weather do strange things during his campaign

Teryl Rothery (Dr. Fraiser in SG-1) - played the church organ player who invented a machine to send her to 'heaven' to be with her late husband but that ended up making weird things happen in the town, like turning water red

Gary Chalk (Col. Chekov in SG-1) - played Col. Briggs in the pilot who was sent in to 'clean up' GD's mess after Walter invented the crazy end-of-the-world machine

Richard Cox (Gaul in SGA S1E12) - played the utilities technician held hostage by his wife in his bedroom in the episode where the women go crazy over Carter

Tyler McClendon (a Wraith in SGA) played a soldier in the pilot

Tamlyn Tomita (Chinese ambassador for the IOA in SG-1 and SGA) - played Henry's girlfriend Kim

Andrew Airlie (2 characters in SG-1) - played Kim's husband who stole all her ideas with the help of the memory wiping device

Saul Rubinek (Emmett the journalist in the SG-1 where Fraiser dies)- played Carl Carlson who could heal himself after an accident in the lab

David Paetkau (one of the prisoners in the crashed ship in S6 of SG-1) - played Callister Raynes the android created by Stark

Barclay Hope (Col. Pendergast in SG-1) - General Mansfield, who keeps an eye on GD

Garwin Sanford (Weir's boyfriend Simon in SGA and Narim in SG-1) - Congressman Faraday who had a relationship with Beverly and was interested in The Artefact

Aleks Paunovic (Shaq'rel in SG-1 and Ronon's friend Rakai in SGA) - played a GD tactical support officer in the episode where Fargo, Vincent, Taggart and Jo take Congressman Faraday hostage believing he is an alien in disguise

The others aren't really worth explaining cause their characters didn't play much of a role!

just got back from the Docs. Good news is that I didn't tear anything just sprained it. Got a knee brace to wear around at work.

The Bad news is that I have some kind of flu bug and am sidelined for the weekend

I could have done with Doc Kavan this week as I'm now on my 3rd day off sick with that flu bug thing..really horrible it was but I'm feeling so much better today. Hope yours doesn't last too long. I couldn't do much except watch Stargate DVD's and hang around a few forums...funny that..

And lots of solidarity hugs to EB... today I went to my GP (yes, again and it seems I have some problems with tensions in my back and two of my vertebrae... I'm only 26 but I start feeling like an old women with all these issues comingup )

British it is. VERY good show. Deals with Time Travel.. Not too bad until you get to eps 6 & 7 (aka S1 ending S2 begining). You might like it! Saw it on BBC America MONTHS ago!
