That happened to me this morning!
Mum: What on earth did you record a film called Mosquitoman for?
Me: Because it's got Corin Nemec in it.
Mum: Colin *who*?
Me: *Corin* Nemec, he played Jonas Quinn on Stargate SG-1.
Mum: Right. *rolls eyes*

This is exactly why my dad didn't get a DVR with our satelite dish.

*laughs* That's me and most Stargate guys, though we're still with the old fashioned VCR. So there are these fat video tapes everywhere that take up like three times the amount of space as DVDs so they're harder to hide and when my stash gets found its always the same:

Nana: What's with the tapes? You've got a ton of DVDs I'm sure you've got the stuff on DVD.

Me: No! That's got a CSI Miami episode and a Lifetime movie!

Nana: You don't watch CSI Miami or Lifetime...

Me: I do when Joe Flanigan or Kavan Smith is on.

I used to do that too. But I got to where I ran out of time to watch all the stuff. Good thing I don't have tivo or dvr cause it'd be full or i'd have mountains of unwatched stuff.

I haven't seen anything Kav's been in other than SG. Never got into 4400, and I don't know what else he's been in. Anything worth trying to hunt down?

I'm lucky, our satellite box thingy records straight to the box hard drive so there aren't any tapes or dvds lying around

God bless Sky Plus wehave got a DVD-R machine and it's proved invaluable during the latest Dr Who, it means I won't have to fork out for the DVD Box Set this year

-giggle- that's me and my parents only I have DVDs so they're easier to hide and the fact that my parents have just stoped asking what I'm watching (they learned their lesson after 'Mansquito')
