In our small town we just got approval to put in a train platform(lets not discuss the issues surrounding that in and of itself okay?) Well in order to do this TPTB have to close a nearby crossing that 56 cars per day use(you know out of our 5,000 or so residents). Needless to say there has been this HUGE uproar over how 'inconvient' this will become for those 56 cars even though with in 2 miles either direction there are NUMEROUS other crossings that are less windy and in general a safer road.

Oh in case y'all didn't know today on Skiffy they are airing The Road Not Taken. I just caught it in my program list so have it recording as I will be in class.

We've had our uproars on inconvienencing folks, here too.. they get into it at almost every DOT meeting when they discuss making 29 limited access... another of those where we just sit back and listen. Our intersection is done completely. Have you heard of round-abouts? The city of GB wants to put like 6 in a row on one busy street and the STATE (I believe) wants to put them on US Hwy 41 -- a 65 (ya, right!!) mph 4-6 lane highway!!! Now THAT is idiotic!!!

No coffee??? I pretend I read that wrong every time!! Oh well, more for me!

Date with Darkness review ---

It was a pretty good movie. Although Kavan didnt have alot of lines he was in a fair amount and you did get to see some good facial expressions. He had one really good line -- I thought so, anyway.

Spoiler:

It was when they were discussing what may of happened to Luster to keep him from showing in court -- Kavan's character said (if I remember the quote right) "Maybe he was taken by aliens." To anyone who didnt know who Kavan was and his role in SGA probably wouldnt of found it so funny!!

So that is my opinion -- not sure if it's worth spending a ton of money to get - if it ever comes out on DVD.
