Major Lorne/Kavan Smith Thunk Thread

Here's a Lorne tid-bit I think Lorne and Zelenka fans might find funny, in my research of all things Lorne, I look around various fanfic sites. I take in little details, how many het vs slash fics Lorne's the star of, what name is used (Nick is by far the most popular for slash I've seen, which is odd since its pretty well known that his canon name is Evan) anyway I'm a Lorne=het kinda girl for my fics, just am, but I find it amazing that in most of the pairings I've found, Lorne/Parrish (one bloody episode together!) and of all things, Lorne/Kavanagh run ramped!! I can only think of one Lorne/Zelenka I've found.

Anyone else find this odd? I suppose I'm wondering just because I'm wondering how some of these pairings (like Lorne/Kavanagh) come to be.

Lorne/Parrish is my favorite Lorne pairing. For the amount of time that the characters had together there was a lot of chemistry. (At least to me.) I think that the two of them are good together.

Lorne/Sheppard is my guilty pleasure, but I will read Lorne/McKay. Lorne/Kavanagh? I've seen it out there but it is one pairing, slash or otherwise, I will never read. (No offense to anybody who does read it, but it's not my cup of tea)

This is very true. I think most of the Lorne smut I've found has all been of the slash sort.

That's my favorite pairing in this fandom, but I'm of the opinion that it's good to mix up the pairings every once in a while, especially if Lorne is involved.
