So, watched The Kindred I - twice, once on my own and once with the kids. I thought it was pretty well done. Of course, it's a tough act to follow after something as unbelievable as Midway.

I made a few caps and put them in my Season 4 folder on PB (http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/e...s/Season4Caps/). My favorite scene was as the team was walking to the village and

Plus, there was finally some gun twirling again! Haven't seen that for way too long.

Also, I really liked the scenes with Teyla and Lorne, those two have been regrettably underused since SOW.

Yeah, seems TPTB are going all out to get us hooked on the show, now that the summer hiatus is almost upon us! Well, they got me biting my nails until next week's sequel. And I must say, kudos on how they managed to explain the revival. I was ready for major p(l)otholes, but I must say it was pretty logical and seamless.

I hope they bring Carson back, I like this character. And I doubt Jason will go bald, sounded like he just wanted the weight off and he got it with his shorter hair.

Just recently I bought Season 2; I'm new to the SGA. Now I have to buy Season 3 to have a better understanding of what the heck is going on now. C'mon Season 4 be up for sale soon.

Amen to that! The DVD sets always have some really cool specials on them. You know, making of certain eps, stunts, etc. The commentaries were good in the beginning, but lately they are hardly using the actors anymore but rather technical specialists, who talk more about lighting effects and stuff which isn't really the background info I'm looking for. Anyway, Jason has not done a single commentary yet. It was a big disappointment last year, we had all been hoping they would let him talk about 'Sateda'. Boy, I'm so jealous you will be watching it for the first time. It really blew me away.

I'll try to leave some comments on my first viewing thoughts and actions.
Although knowing I won't hear any of his commentary is disappointing. From what I've learned so far he's a good man and a dedicated actor, his opinions and thoughts on the epi's would have been good.

No, but I think he's pretty committed to his baby girl's mom. I read somewhere that "he moved them to Vancouver" *shrugs* We don't get a lot of personal details, except what his mom posts for his official fan club.

Thanks. He sounds like he'll be good with a daughter. On the bad side he'll scare all her boyfriends. Being female that really sucks on our part.
