someone recced the stargate legacy books to me (b/c i'm such a huge sam fan and sam/jack shipper)

truth be told, i wasn't really much of a 'fan' of atlantis. i only watched season 4 b/c amanda/sam came aboard, and then quit when she did. but...

this legacy series has made me a *fan*!! fantastic writing, deep character moments, actual character progression, great sam moments, great s/j moments, exciting battle sequences... i was excited to see the end, but at the same time, dreading it being over!

i wish mgm would take the legacy series and make it into a mini series!!

I'm hoping for more as well. Most media tie-in books are "bubbles", nothing changes, nothing moves forward, the universe is the same at the beginning as at the end. I like continuing the series on in book form. I wonder what the hold up is in negotiations. It doesn't cost MGM anything to authorize the creation of books, it could be wrangling over what share of the revenues MGM gets.
