I'm assuming he meant the 'prime' ape as in the first ape from which all 5 ape primates (Human, chimpanzee, gorilla, orangutan and bonobo) descended. There is sufficient evidence to the 'theory' to catalog it as close enough to truth that it is in fact, fact.

One thing from Wraith king i highly doubt that atlantis was all of the collective anicents because that would be like what 1-2 million at most and they left before the plague so i think plus pegasus galaxy ancients came back 10,000 years ago and the 4 great race alliance was before that like tens of thousands of years. In "Before I Sleep" the Ancients confirmed that humans are the "second evolution" of their species. This would not be possibel if the Ancients were not from Earth unless they brought with them whatever creatures humans evolved from. Otherwise, if humans and Ancients did not evolve from the same creatures as the same species, humans would not be a "second evolution" they would be a separate and distinct species.
