Had a fun idea the other day and sent TPTB a snail-mail letter in Ancient with a load of 'Save Atlantis' pics. and notes (in english, so they know what the hell i've sent). Downloaded the Ancient font type from here:

called 'Anquietas' by the remarkable Joseph Spicer!

What a good idea, how do you download it?

Glad you liked it. Just go to: http://www.thescifiworld.net/fonts.htm scroll down to Anquietas (True Type) by Joseph Spicer (Updated) and click download! Then just install it into word under font types!

Please forgive the brief pop-in as I only have a minute this morning. And also, please forgive if this is somewhere on the thread, but has anyone thought of contacting "Entertainment Tonight" or E! the entertainment cable network? Informing them about the fan campaign to save Atlantis might generate some more attention. Of course, it would be better for them to have a 'visual' (a fan protest, or people willing to be interviewed) explaining, politely, what is happening and what fans are trying to do. BUt just letting them know about the efforts we are doing to save the show might help the cause.

Yeah, and get them to come to the convention were we're handing out thousands of leaflets!

I think the cancellation is totally unfair to the fans, especially with
Atlantis being Sci Fi's only show with longevity. It's ratings have been higher than ever. it was said to be up 30%

I think it would be great if we got everyone around the world to rally on the same day. Just think of the impact and how united it would appear. Maybe the same day as Bridge studios rally? It would show them we mean business! ;D

If you've got Vista then right-click on the downloaded + saved file and click Install - then it'll go automatically into word font types.

Not sure how to do it with XP or earlier Windows packages, but try right-clicking the downloaded + saved file and see if Install comes up in the box list. If it doesn't work then we can ask on the forum - I think someone else on here said they'd dowloaded it successfully?
