what are some episodes to look for in season1? what do you guys think are stand out episodes?

The mid-season two parter was great, The Storm and The Eye, that was my favourite story from season 1.

Though all of the season is very good, however some episodes may have seemed a bit slow moving.

I agree with you that season 1 did have a lot of great episodes, probably because at first it was so different. Though I still love Atlantis even if some of the stories have been a bit iffy.
