    The Ship (3x20 - "First Strike" spoilers)

    As everyone knows there will be new ship arriving at the end of this season.
    does anyone have any more info about this ship? Any Comments welcome.

    Umm... spoilers, much?

    It's called The Apollo, wields a new weapon called Horizon and it's the same class as the Daedalus and the Odyssey. It's captained by some guy.

      Its not a new weapon, it is just a new weapons platform that contains decoy missles.

        Aren't there a couple threads like this already? and no, no one knows anymore than you do.

              ships commander is col abe ellis, hopefully it will be a new design but it is doubtfull.

                    The Odyssey has had two so far. Obviously the PTB isn't above switching captains.

                      well MP has been a really important recuring character. I think the whole point of the Apollo is to have another ship without having to replace a commander of an already existent ship.

                          Day Break, the show Mitch Pileggi is currently working on, has been cancelled so unless he gets a substantial role on another show soon, he'll be able to work fully on Atlantis.

                          Michael Beach is a superb actor and quite a significant name from his days on Third Watch so I imagine he'll be around for a few episodes.
