Well I forgot to mention the liberals made this a campaign engagement which they failed to uphold.
That's what they are being sued for, many people voted them in for that reason alone. Proves once again politicians can't be trusted.
I'll be waiting for my 100$ cheque
Spoiler:
I don’t want to be human. I want to see gamma rays, I want to hear X-rays, and I want to smell dark matter. Do you see the absurdity of what I am? I can’t even express these things properly, because I have to—I have to conceptualize complex ideas in this stupid, limiting spoken language, but I know I want to reach out with something other than these prehensile paws, and feel the solar wind of a supernova flowing over me. I’m a machine, and I can know much more.
We will gallop through Annoyed's automated defenses with our moosavalry and claim our 100$'s. (You're half Canadian so a moose will deem you worthy to ride.)

...gaseous fumes!!!... Environmental garbage/waste issues are taking a deadly future turn with rats now infesting rotting garbage heaps in city streets of California... (giving 3rd world countries almost a competitive outlook *run* on who has the highest and worst offending trash piles). ugh
Back in the 1970's, my one of my sisters took a cross-country road trip from NJ to California and back. She said that of all the USA states, California was rated as the cleanest. In fact, it was so squeaky clean that certain flies didn't even exist out there. Today, about 40 plus years later, California is *cruisin for a bruisin* with heaps and heaps of garbage, waste and human excrement in the streets of especially Los Angeles and San Francisco.
This is what Democratic controlled California, USA looks like now in the 21st century. Rats scurrying everywhere for food. Fleas hopping off the rats and onto people. Drug users and homeless tossing needles wherever they are discarded.
NBC, of all news agencies, posted an article about the amount of filth that exists in LA, California. The mayor of LA let the garbage and filth pile up. Here is the article.
"This is a fix for a week, maybe three days. Then, it's just going to happen again."
. . .
Just 48 hours after the I-Team exposed a mountain of trash, that stretches for almost a city block, Los Angeles appears to finally be taking action.
. . .
They're worried because this mess and other uncollected trash heaps -- many near homeless encampments -- have become a breeding ground for huge rats.
Public health experts saythose rats carry fleas that have spread typhus and could spread salmonella and even bubonic plague.
"I'm disgusted by it personally," LA Mayor Eric Garcetti told NBCLA back in October, when the I-Team showed the mayor photos of the mess on Ceres Avenue.
After that interview, the garbage mountain was cleaned up.
But month after month since then, the I-Team continued to watch and documented that the filth has continued to pile up, uncollected. Business people in the area believe that the piles of unmanageable trash are probably caused by illegal dumping.
. . .
But there is still a big problem.
Minutes after the city cleared away the trash on Ceres Avenue, I-Team cameras caught rats running all over the area, which is next to LA's Produce District.
"It's something the city just doesn't care about," Ebrahimi says, referring to the burgeoning rat population.
Unlike other big cities like New York and Washington D.C., LA has no rodent abatement program to deal with an exploding rat population, along with the fleas that reside on rats and could spread serious diseases.
"Last year, I had bites all over my body, and so did everyone who was working here," Ebrahimi says.
The store owner adds, "It's filthy, it's disgusting."
. . .
So... how long will it be before the next cleanup turns trashy, and every single one after that, as well?
If diseases that were common during the ancient plagues of Europe and the UK, make a comeback and increase in our 21st century right in the USA, the people guilty of causing this are the ones dumping it AND the government systems claiming to be helping the American people, and end up harming and destroying the very people they claim to *want to* protect and advance into a better "society".
California... the (failed!!!) socialism experiment that people want to spread to the rest of the entire USA. Sad.
Rotting garbage/waste that is not properly disposed of creates all sorts of gaseous fumes, as well. That can't be helping the atmosphere, especially when it occurs in bigger consumptions than what the earth is capable of decomposing slowly on the natural scale of things.

Overall: General symptoms of overpopulation.
Specific to CA.: They invite freeloaders and are surprised by the results? No one ever accused liberals of being intelligent.
They all have laudable EMOTIONAL goals, but they utterly ignore reality. Someone's gotta pay for this crap, and they never think of that.
