He has a lot less screen time and the main story is focused elsewhere, you could say his story is relegated to the b story in season 2, although he does play a significant role at some points. His character, for me, was no where near as annoying in season 2 as he was season 1.

Season 2 has it's own flaws though lol.

That's just what I was looking for. I just don't get TV writers sometimes. They've got a story about mysterious happenings in space, possible interaction with unknown life forms, and they spend half the screen time on some robot kid whose chief talent seems to be trying to look cute and adorable. Ungh.
