Oh I know. But Minoan is pretty much seen as part of Greek history, and most won't know the difference.

They could at the very least use Plato descriptions of the city, instead we get your standard ancient Mediterranean city. An Plato does provide the names of the 10 kings of Atlantis, all brothers, now there drama. He even provides a creation story for Atlantis. None of that seem to have made it into the series.
