What sci-fi episode did you watch today?

Ah, McClance, Lost in Space is one of my all time favorites.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. This is my first time watching the series, though I've seen the movie several times. The series is okay, but I find that I much prefer the movie. Dr. Smith, in particular, is much more believable in the movie.

Yeah McClance, the Dr. Smith from the movie is more serious and dark. I grew up in the 90's watching the show on scifi since my mother grew up watching it and introduced me to it. What I love about the original Dr. Smith is the comedy involved. I wish we could see a reboot tv show of some kind. I'm hoping for a blu ray release of the show itself someday. From what I can tell you definitely have good taste in scifi based on what you've watched. Alot of the classics are the best.

I grew up during the '90s, too, though it took me a while to expand my science fiction horizons beyond Star Trek and Star Wars. For the past year, I've been working my way through the '60s, watching various TV shows and movies (science fiction and otherwise). Next year, I'll be working on the '70s.

I read recently that a reboot of Lost in Space for television is under consideration.
