Sometimes I wonder whether JMS wanted Byron to be such a snobbish twit. I don't think that was his intent though. At this point, I just going to appreciate season 5 for everything other than Byron.

Fifth season is so slow, right? I didn't feel the urge to watch it for a while because of how ridiculous it was. But the second half of it sorta picks up.

The first half of season 5 has the same type of feel as certain season 4 dialogue-driven episodes like Illusion of Truth, Conflicts of Interest, and Exercise of Vital Powers. Yeah, there's substance there, but because of either the delivery of certain characters () or pacing, it just didn't have the same punch as the previous seasons.

I know it probably has substance and stuff but: a. no Ivanova, b. Michael being bad again, c. Byron, d-g. Byron, h. there was too much closure happening too fast like everything's that's happened has to be recieve closure at the hands of those petty things? Byron?, things don't progress that fast, i. very little left of wonderment to me, and plus I didn't like the parts you said, how it was very slow paced. I could go on probably, but the second half made up for it I guess. I guess it's more that the show was ending that kinda sucked. But yeah, I didn't like that it was receiving closure in the form of Byron and that other annoying psycop dude.
