Film: "Marooned" (1969).
One of a spate of late 60s "disaster in space movies, Marooned tells the story of the crew of Ironman 1 - an Apollo mission to an experimental orbiting Skylab-type affair - which of cours goes disastrously wrong when their retro-rockets fail to fire, leaving them stranded in space with only 72 hours of oxygen.
It's an oddly bleak film, with one astronaut choosing to take his own life (opening the seals of his suit during a spacewalk) rather than slowly suffocate to death through lack of oxygen.sigpic
