A Haven moment happened yesterday. When hearing about the meteor in Russia, I immediately thought of the show.

That seems a tad bit late, even for a fall premier...


I remember last year it started filming in February, I think, and then it didn't air until September.

The writing starts that early, but they film in Nova Scotia, which likely still has snow on the ground right now.

EB has seen the scripts, so work is underway. Last year they filmed all summer and finished the finale just as the first episode was about to air.

Since Haven doesn't use that much CGI, it doesn't need the huge finish times of Sanctuary or Who.

Oh...I just found out why. Emily Rose is pregnant, due to give birth soon (April).

I read recently that Colin Ferguson (Sheriff Jack Carter from Eureka) will be joining the cast of Haven next season. No idea what his character will be like, but I'm looking forward to him being on the show.

Also read a short bit that says Season 4 opens something like six months after the events at the end of Season 3.
