Routh: 'Superman shouldn't be darker'

They should bring in the DCAU guys to work on the new Superman movie. Bruce Timm knows the character way better than just about anyone else.

Timm et al did a 'Death of Superman' animated film last year, it wasn't half bad. First 1/4, Superman dies. Second 1/2, Metropolis deals with replacement Superman going bonkers, final 1/4, Superman returns [groan] and defeats the replacement with some help from Lois and, unintentionally, Lex. There's also an interesting subtextual scene where Lex beats the replacement Superman. I was shocked that they touched on that issue but pleasantly surprised.
