The rest of the time the TV is on one of the news channels - CNN or Fox or MSNBC.

I'm quite partial to Monk as well - but I prefer the Season One theme music.

Stuff I'd kill to see again.
Chelmsford 123 (a pre-Blackadder historical comedy set during the Roman occupation of Britain).
Nightingales (a truly surreal show starring trio of security guards - Sarge, Mr. Carter and "Ding-dong" Bell - who work nightshift in an office block).
Marine Boy (the first anime show I remember watching, broadcast in the UK in the late 70's).
The Mysterious Cities of Gold.

Survivor (the only 'reality show' I watch)

that's funny, because survivor is the only one i watch as well. i usually gander at the amazing race though, but that's because it's on right before stargate.

i cannot live without new simpsons (screw the repeats)

I loved "Kingdom Hospital" - I'm not surprised it got cancelled though, it was far too intelligent for the average American to get their wits around.

"Garth Marenghi's Darkplace" - more of the same, but set in the UK, with a much smaller budget and far less acting talent. A very deliberate and somewhat toungue in cheek parody of cheesy early 80's television.
