They say size isnt everything, but in those star ship comparisons where was the Battlestar Galactic. Surely that would have been a chart topper.

If you would like a look, there are more charts here - http://www.st-minutiae.com/misc/comparison/
I just posted the medium size range as it had The Liberator & answered Coco Pops question.
Great to see Red Dwarf on the "Huge" chart.

The people who made the Scorpio Attack fanzine a while ago, now have their own webzine.
It has detailed behind-the-scenes articles for each episode, image galleries of rare photographs and design sketches. The Series A & B episode guides are already live on the site and new episodes will be added every week.
The site also houses detailed information on the Big Finish range of audios including interviews with the writers and stars. There is also a section containing archived interviews from the print version of the fanzine. You can find interviews with a variety of production crew including writers Chris Boucher, Trevor Hoyle and James Follett.

Arrrggghhh!. Is there any hope of a remake of the series for TV. Reading is nice but I loved the show and always thought it could have been so much better with improved special effects. Now they upgraded Star Trek TOS and the speial effects have raised the show to yet another level. Maybe they could do the same for the original Blakes 7 series. Improved space special effects while retaining that magnificent ship, would be ideal.

I have such mixed feelings about a remake. On the one hand, I do agree with you regarding improved effects etc to improve the original series would be a great idea.
However, regarding a total remake, I have very little faith in the people who now own the rights to the show to do it justice. The concept art they did for their vision of the remake was just dreadful. Just generic grungy.
Take a look

I would prefer a remake to be made in the UK. I don't particularly trust anyone else but the BBC to remake such an iconic show. And the likelihood of that is practically zero.
Also Freemantle Media's press release in 2013 used the word "amazeballs". Anyone who uses the word amazeballs in a sentence shouldn't be let anywhere near Blake's 7.
Finally, I can't imagine anyone else but Paul Darrow, Gareth Thomas, Michael Keating, Jacqueline Pearce et al as the cast.Last edited by Blencathra; 08 August 2015, 10:20 AM.

That version of the Liberator looks like a slap up done by the Borg... It looks terrible, as does the interior.....
As for London can I say "last of the Timelords" which it reminds me of the Master's vision of Earth...Go home aliens, go home!!!!

I think I would spontaneously combust.

Big Finish: Blake's 7 audios to return in 2016
http://www.bigfinish.com/news/v/blak...return-in-2016
The Liberator is returning with the release of an exclusive Blake’s 7 story, and a sneak peek into future plans.
Exciting plans are afoot at Big Finish Productions for our on-going range of Blake’s 7 audios, which mean the end of one set of adventures, and the beginning of many more.
Volume 12 of Blake’s 7 – The Liberator Chronicles, now scheduled for April 2016, will be the last in the series, but do not fear; all is not lost for the intrepid crew of the Liberator.
“2016 will mark the start of a brand new era for Blake’s 7 at Big Finish,” says producer Cavan Scott. “We’ll see new missions, intriguing new characters and the return of some real fan favourites.
“We’re also working hard to give The Liberator Chronicles the send off the award-winning series deserves, as it makes way for explosive new adventures for Blake’s brave band of rebels. More details will be revealed soon. In the meantime, we’re pleased to release a very special Blake’s 7 story, today.”
Blake's 7 - The Liberator Chronicles: Remnants is an exclusive download, written by Simon Guerrier, and starring Paul Darrow and Sally Knyvette.
After a disastrous mission to the planet Laresh, most of the crew has been wiped out. Avon and Jenna are the sole survivors, reunited aboard the Liberator.
With their plans in tatters, will Blake’s Two stay together… or go their separate ways to seek refuge in a galaxy pitted against them?
Blake's 7 - The Liberator Chronicles: Remnants can be downloaded now for just £6.99.
“As a special thank you for being patient,” says Cavan, “we’re also making Remnants available free of charge to customers who have already pre-ordered Blake's 7 - The Liberator Chronicles: Volume 12. They will find the title ready to download in their Big Finish account!”
Stay tuned to the Big Finish website for more news about upcoming Blake's 7 releases.
