Comics Online did a video interview with Chris Judge at Comic Con 2010 (view here) and they discussed Rage of Angels (starts around the 8:35 mark).
    • CJ is partnered with Bill MacDonald (creator of "Rome")
    • as was previously announced : Starz now owns the property (formerly MGM)
    • in the process of writing the show bible and the first 10 episodes
    • Due to start production late 2010 / early 2011 for release in 2011/2012
    • Michael Shanks is no longer attached to the project, choice made by Starz
    • The Archangel Gabriel comes to Earth to start the Seven Tribulations (also known as the Seven Signs). It will be controversial. Very dark, violent and sexy.
    • they've been kinda given carte blanche to go as gritty, dirty and dark but also a big scope

Thanks for posting. I haven't seen Chris in a while, he looks so different.

Thanks for the update. I ask Jay Acovone at Gatecon a few weeks ago and he said they hadn't heard anything and he thought the project was dead. I wonder if he still part of the project.

Maybe they want someone who will do porn for the part and MS won't do porn?

Then that would be his choice, not Starz. To me it sounds like they just didn't want him, why that is is anyone's guess.

Chris said at DragonCon that they're scripting out the first season now. Hopefully it won't be too much longer before some casting news.

That bums me out that MS won't be a part of this. Seeing him and Chris together was something I was looking forward to.
