Sorry...it's not that big of a spoiler, though...doesn't really have anything to do with the plot, and it's kind of impossible to sum up the plot of that book; there was so much going on O.O

It may not be a big one, but the polite thing to do is use spoiler tags. Some people do not like to know ahead.

Yeah, I know, I'll go change it--when I put it down at the time I didn't really think it counted as a spoiler

besides, no one tends to pay attention to my posts anyway :-/

                    Has anyone read :
Time Police by Warren Norwood? I picked up vol 1, 2, 3 in a used book store, and loved them, I was wondering if there were any other volumes?

                        Jacket descrition below:
                        It's 2183.
Do You know where your past is?
The second republic was mercilessly efficient. It controlled the press, the state, the rights of it's citizens.
Then one day it captured the secret of time travel.
Now the Second Republic could control the past, piece by piece, slowly changing it to make sure that they would never lose their grasp on history. The Time Police were the agents of oppression of the Second Republic, dedicated to protecting it's version of the past.
Jackson Dubchek was a researcher, an ordinary citizen, too insignificant to warrant the attention of the Time Police until he stumbled onto the truthe behind their work. He is determined to undo what they have done. Now the Time Police are after him. Jackson mst go on the run to escape them and there is no place for him to go but into the past.

Well considering 2009 just ended I thought I'd present my favorite top 10 fantasy books from the past year. It was actually quite difficult choosing which one was better than the other after the first 3; not to mention I also had to leave others off this list.

                                1. Wizard's First Rule - Terry Goodkind
                                2. Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins
                                3. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - JK Rowling
                                4. Stone of Tears - Terry Goodkind
                                4. Eye of the World - Robert Jordan
                                5. Inkdeath - Cornelia Funke
                                6. Ranger's Apprentice: Battle for Skandia - Jon Flanagan
                                7. Faith of the Fallen - Terry Goodkind
                                8. Mistborn: The Hero of Ages - Brandon Sanderson
                                9. Gathering Storm: Brandon Sanderson
                                10. Mistborn: The Final Empire - Brandon Sanderson

This top ten was wittled down from a list of 208 books I read in 2009. I admit I have skipped a number of well known fantasy authors like Terry Brooks, Bujold, Pratchett, J.V. Jones, Garth Nix, Tad Williams, Lawhead and Donaldson. I will force myself to read their most popular book ones this month to see if they're any good.
