This is the first book of hers that I've checked out. Pretty good so far.

I just finished reading "The first law" trilogy by Joe Abercrombie, this is a great fantasy series which I highly recommend.

I am not familiar with the series either, although it sounds like a fantasy series and I lean much more to Sci-FI.

I just found out David Weber has a new release in the Honor Harrington series "Storm from the Shadows" and John Ringo has a new release forthcoming "Eye of the Storm" and those two are on my emergency must read asap list!!

I have that book. I hesistate to start it because you don't know what you're going to get sometimes. I've read 3 different horrible books in a row that are HUGELY popular and highly recommended and I don't want anymore punishment especially considering that the "Blade Itself" is the biggest book among those 3 others. When you read the reviews of books on amazon you have to wonder what ppl are actually thinking sometimes.

I have this book, but have decided to reread Shadow of Saganami before starting on the new book. It's been awhile and I love David Weber so much!
                                He creates such great characters.
