Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Discussion/Appreciation Anyone..??

The only books I've ever read that took place solely on a ship were Jack Campbell's Lost Fleet series.

"Pushing Ice" by Alastair Reynolds has some themes similar to SGU.

Could you be a bit more specific about what kind of books your looking for? Hard sci-fi or space opera? Military or mystery?

Finished reading "Empire of light" by Gary Gibson. Pretty good space opera book though the ending wasn't completely to my liking.

Haven't decided on what to read next. The choices are:

"Fool moon" by Jim Butcher
"The Black Prism" by Brent Weeks
"Sacred band" by David Anthony Durham. This book is the third book of a trilogy which does give it a leg up in the competition.

Now that school is almost over, I can finally finish Well of Lost Plots. I had to leave it alone, because once I start I can't stop! And I still need to finish grading papers!
