The only books I've ever read that took place solely on a ship were Jack Campbell's Lost Fleet series.

Could you be a bit more specific about what kind of books your looking for? Hard sci-fi or space opera? Military or mystery?
more in the mystery space opera style.. thanks!

Finished reading "Empire of light" by Gary Gibson. Pretty good space opera book though the ending wasn't completely to my liking.

Haven't decided on what to read next. The choices are:

        "Fool moon" by Jim Butcher
"The Black Prism" by Brent Weeks
"Sacred band" by David Anthony Durham. This book is the third book of a trilogy which does give it a leg up in the competition.

Currently reading The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman and Chris Riddell for the first time. Would have loved to have read it as a child I think.
Cake - an AU tale of secrets, lies, intrigue and Jack's favourite thing.

                Chapter 1

I'm only up to the third chapter and I love it immensely already. Definitely would recommend it.

Now that school is almost over, I can finally finish Well of Lost Plots. I had to leave it alone, because once I start I can't stop! And I still need to finish grading papers!

Finished reading "Fool Moon" by Jim Butcher. This book sold me on the Dresden files and I definitely will keep reading them.

Next up is "Sacred band" by David Anthony Durham.
