If I remember that scene correctly, then I always assumed she dragged the better-dressed-than-a-velociraptor Christine with her sort of like a hostage, to make sure they wouldn't try to stop her by shooting her or something. Christine just got the short end of the stick there.

Okay I figured that part, but I thought she had an ulterior motive for taking Christine with her. But you're probably right, she might have grabbed anybody at that point, and Christine just happened to be there to get her just dessert anyway. I always read too much into everything.
