How’s this for one:
An animated series that follows the lives of an elite team. It is set far in the future where earth has several space colonies. Suddenly something strange happens on one of earths colonies and suddenly they find they are at war with a powerful Alien race. This team will have to travel to many planets, engage in several space battles to take down this new treat. They should also have a couple of advanced technologies that are not in most sci-fi such as quick-healing nanobots, anti-aging technologies (some characters could be 200 years old or more) and robotic drones helping in the military.
This series would be similar to Clone Wars, but a more realistic animation style (think King of the Hill almost). Reason why an animated series and not live-action: the series won't be limited by make-up and special effects. We could have weird aliens and not just guys in makeup, go to several different locations without worrying about sets (think planets with strange plant-life, exotic alien ships, ect)
