Ok. Here's my list:

1. Doctor Who (26 years; who can say more?)
2. Stargate Atlantis (I just love it!)

4. Farscape (Why did it have to end?!)
5. Star Trek: TNG
6. Star Trek: DS9
7. Andromeda (This would be higher on my list if the later season weren't so bad).
8. Red Dwarf (So funny!)

After that I kinda run out of good scifi shows that I have actually seen and I know I haven't seen them all by far. Anyway that's my honest opinion of my top scifi shows. The order isn't that important, beyond that Doctor Who must be on top.

K dont all shoot me now but I dont watch Star Trek or farscape, and just havnt ever caught an episode of the x files, same goes for BSG and B5. So just a quick top ones that iv seen.

My top two:

Farscape - it had its lows ( :: glares hard at first half of s4 :: ) but its highs were astronomical. The puppets were better actors than a lot of not-at-all-bad Real actors I could name, the character development was unparalleled and the SF concepts were well executed.

Babylon 5 - s1-4 were brilliant. It doesn't deserve its creator's description of 'a novel for television' so much as 'a stunning epic novel for television'.

And the rest, in no particular order...

Firefly - which would maybe be #1 if it wasn't so shortlived

Stargate - natch

Doctor Who - I'm 31 and British, so... obviously!

Ultraviolet - short, sharp and shocking

Blake's Seven - as per Doctor Who

DS9 - Trek's best

TNG - Picard is fab

Red Dwarf - the first four or five series were hilarious.
