I'm not nuts about rides, but some of them are pretty good.

Heh, I started the thread though. You'd probably like rides more if you had been on some decent ones.

Yeah, only having cr@p rides doesn't help your liking for them, most of the time that are just boring, but the royal show that we have every year has some good ones, but I rarely go to the show anymore, parking is a b!tch.

Yeah, I don't go to the Ekka much either. (That's the Brisbane equivilent I guess. It's on next month and my uni is at the next bus stop. If I feel like skipping Uni, I might just go. Nah, it would probably suck without anyone to go with. )

Yeah, going to those sorts of things you really need someone to go with or it is a bit dull. The only good part of the sho is cotton candy, I could eat that stuff 'till my teeth fall out, and even them I could probably keep going.

I think the same sort of rides goes from show to show. Do you get that Roller Coaster and Rainbow ride?

Yeah, all the rides move around and are the same, we have the rollercoaster and the rainbow ride.

Do you remember the Spin Dragon incident that happened down here?

Nah... what happened?

It collapsed when heaps of people were on it, there was a huge media coverage of it, you should have got it, it was a pretty big incident. My family and I were standing there looking at it and wondering if we should go on it about 30 minutes earlier, when we got home we heard about it and were shocked.

****, nah, I'm not sure it was reported here. I remember the Roller Coaster crashed at the Ekka one year.

I don't remember hearing about the Ekka, maybe they don't bother covering those sorts of things interstate.

That's pretty screwed up. Maybe it's just Channel Ten's coverage.

Yeah, I seem to remember it being reported on Ten here quite a bit, it wouldn't surprise me if thats what they do, but the stories aren't small either and it's not as though only South Australians were on the ride.
